Type Positive (negative for undead mobs)

Instant Health is a status effect that instantly increases health for players and living mobs and damages the undead.

Effect

Instantly heals 2HP❤️ × 2level or 3HP❤️💔 × 2level[upcoming: JE Combat Tests]. Undead mobs (including the wither) are damaged as if with Instant Damage instead (including the base value in the preceding formula being 3HP❤️💔 instead of 2HP❤️). When applied using a lingering potion, the entity is healed every second.

When applied via potion, level 30 (amplifier 29) heals -231, enabling the killing of all mobs including players in Creative. When applied via other means such as /effect, level 30 provides no healing. Regardless of means, levels 31–32 (amplifiers 30–31) also provide no healing. Levels outside the range 1–32 (corresponding to amplifiers 0–31) are used modulo 32, making level 33 the same as level 1, et cetera.

Instant Health has its duration set in game ticks (instead of seconds) with the /effect command.
