// MINECRAFT CAPES
Every official Mojang cape we have seen on a Minecraft player, with the number of players who wear it right now. Open a cape to see it in 3D and find out who owns it.
Mojang capes are official Minecraft: Java Edition capes. You cannot buy them: Mojang hands them out for events such as MINECON, to people who worked on the game, or to everyone who owned an account at a certain time (the Migrator and Vanilla capes, for example). Every player sees them in game, on any server.
OptiFine capes are a different thing: they are sold by the OptiFine mod and only players who use OptiFine can see them. We show OptiFine capes on player profiles, but this list only contains official Mojang capes.
A player can own several Mojang capes and choose which one to wear in the Minecraft Launcher under Skins. We count a player as a holder while we see the cape on their profile, and you can browse their skins as well.
