This feature was exclusively part of a joke version and is not currently planned for addition to regular Minecraft.

A pet cat is a pet variant of the cat exclusive to 25w14craftmine.

Spawning

A pet cat spawns next to the player on mine start when the "Pet Cat" Player Unlock is active.

Drops

Pet cats drop nothing when killed.

Behavior

The behaviors between pet cat and the cat in regular versions are almost the same, but there are still some differences:

The player's melee attack can't damage the pet cat.
Creepers and pet creepers don't escape from the pet cat.
Raw cods and raw salmons can't be used on the pet cat.

Issues

Issues relating to "Pet Cat" are not maintained on the bug tracker because it is an April Fools' joke, and is therefore not in the newest stable version or snapshot. Issues reported there are closed as "Invalid".
