A Sympathy Thread item binds two targets so harm carries between them. Hurt one linked creature and its partner takes the same damage. Break one linked block and its twin breaks too. A dust thread marks every bond.
/sympathy give [player]. It is a named, tagged string item.While linked:
Links dissolve when either entity dies or a linked block is removed. Forming a link uses one thread, except in creative mode. Links persist across restarts.

Binding targets with a thread needs sympathy.use, granted to everyone by default. Aliases: /sym, /fate.
config.yml has max-links (the combined entity and block pair cap, 0 for unlimited), particles-enabled, and particle-interval-ticks. Run /sympathy reload after editing.
Built for Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, and Purpur 1.21.1 through 1.21.11 on Java 21. Bukkit API only. Not Folia safe.
