Description
Simply Salty is a Vanilla+ style mod that adds features around Salt!
Featuring:
- 2 New Ores! (Salt and Sulfur)

Simply Salty started as just the gunpowder crafting recipe. It has come quite a long way since! I hope you guys enjoy it!
Recipes:
1) New Blocks
Discover new ores in the world: Salt ore and Sulfur ore! These bad boys can be mined and then processed to make many different things!
Salt and Sulfur have their own Stone variant, as well as chunks that you can make into slabs, stairs, and walls!
2) Food
Simply Salty adds Salty meats, as well as Meat Jerky! Any raw meats can be processed to create jerky. (Rotten flesh excluded, because even salt can't make it edible)
Each type of jerky will grant a small effect that's different depending on the meat you ate! Simply surround the meat of choice with 4 salt, and voila! Salty meat!
To create jerky, put the salty meat in a smoker and watch it go... Bon Appétit!
3) Miscellaneous
Salt and Sulfur can also make other interesting things!
- Make Fertile Soil to plant your crops in! Water sources nearby are no longer required! Fertile Soil cannot be trampled on!
- In this mod, we added a way to craft gunpowder! Simply combine Salt, Sulfur, and Charcoal to get it, no hassle with creepers required!
- Sulfur can be turned into Sulfur Chunks, a new fuel source! Pop this baby in a furnace / blast furnace / smoker and watch it go!
Simply Salty will be on a development hiatus as our programmer left. New content will not be introduced in the near future. Thank you for your understanding.
With all that said, Simply Salty is a mod that can go beyond just Simply Salt. We plan to add new content and update this mod in the future! Here's a little sneak peek into our list...

How to Install
Download Forge & Java
Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.
Prepare
Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.
Add Mods
Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder
Enjoy
You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
