Frame generation for Minecraft. Interframe takes each finished frame and shows synthesised frames between it and the next one: one extra by default, up to three. Client only. Sodium is optional and hosts the settings page.
ONNX Runtime is not bundled, because its native libraries are large. Put an ONNX Runtime jar on the game's classpath and a RIFE model at config/interframe/model.onnx, then choose Neural. If either is missing, or the model does not fit, Interframe logs it and uses the built-in synthesiser.
Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge or Fabric), 1.21.1 or 26.2 (NeoForge or Fabric), on Java 17, 21 and 25 respectively. Client only. With Sodium on 1.21.1 and 26.2 the options are a page in its video settings (Reese's Sodium Options too); otherwise, and on 1.20.1, edit config/interframe.json. On 26.2 it needs the OpenGL backend. Switched off, presentation is exactly vanilla.
This mod has been abandoned. It works fine, but it will not receive updates.
