# Builders Paradise — World Protection & Y=2032 Build Height!

> **Build to the heavens and protect your creations without sacrificing core vanilla mechanics!**

Tired of creepers blowing up your master builds, ghasts destroying nether bridges, endermen stealing decorative blocks, and snow cluttering your roofs? **Builders Paradise** is the all-in-one quality-of-life data pack designed specifically for builders, survival worlds, and servers.

---

## Key Features

### Smart Creeper & Ghast Protection (Damage Preserved!)
* **Zero Block Damage**: Creeper and Ghast explosions will **never break blocks or terrain**.
* **Survival Combat Preserved**: Explosions **still deal full radius damage and knockback** to players and mobs (Normal Creeper Power 3 / Charged Creeper Power 6). You still have to stay on your guard!

### Anti-Enderman Griefing
* Endermen can no longer pick up, hold, or place blocks.
* Any block already held by an enderman is cleanly removed to prevent random placement.

### No Accumulating Snow Buildup
* Disables the continuous snow layer stacking during snowstorms (`max_snow_accumulation_height = 0`).
* Keeps your outdoor roofs, paths, and builds clean while preserving existing and player-placed snow.

### Massive Y=2032 Build Height
* Expands the maximum build ceiling up to **Y=2031 (Total height 2032 blocks)** across all dimensions:
  * **Overworld:** Y = -64 to 2031
  * **The Nether:** Y = 0 to 2031
  * **The End:** Y = 0 to 2031
* Natural world generation and lighting remains safe and intact.

---

## Why is this Better than `/gamerule mobGriefing false`?

Setting `mobGriefing false` in vanilla Minecraft breaks many important survival mechanics:
* Villagers stop breeding and farming crops.
* ❌Sheep cannot eat grass to regrow wool.
* Allays and piglins cannot pick up items.

**Builders Paradise uses a smart dynamic restoration system!** `mob_griefing` stays **TRUE** during normal gameplay, temporarily flickers for just 2 ticks during an explosion to protect terrain, and instantly restores itself. Your villager farms, sheep pens, and automated setups remain 100% functional!

---

## Installation & Setup

### Singleplayer:
1. Download `Builders Paradise.zip`.
2. Move the `.zip` file into your world's `datapacks/` folder.
3. **Important:** Completely close and **restart your Minecraft world** (world height adjustments require a full world reload).

### Multiplayer / Server:
1. Place `Builders Paradise.zip` into the server's `world/datapacks/` folder.
2. **Restart the server completely**.

---

## Important Notes & Uninstallation

* **Build Height Compatibility:** If you remove the pack in the future, any blocks placed above vanilla ceiling (Y=320 in Overworld / Y=256 in Nether & End) will become inaccessible. Always back up your world before modifying dimension settings.
* **Uninstall Command:** Before removing the pack, run `/function appletomato_world:explosion/restore` and reset the snow rule via `/gamerule minecraft:max_snow_accumulation_height 1`.
