Cinematic, GTA-style camera transitions for Waystones and Create: Kinetic Waypoints teleports.
|
Teleport Animation replaces the instant cut of a Waystones teleport with a cinematic camera move: the camera pulls up off the player through several zoom stages, glides across the world toward the destination, and descends back down as you arrive. It plays whenever you teleport with Waystones (waystones, warp plates, warp stones and scrolls) or with Create: Kinetic Waypoints (NeoForge 1.21.1 only); it does not animate vanilla A fork of Grand Teleport by Codex (Forge 1.20.1), with contributions to the original by hookuru_. The camera zooms out, travels above the terrain, and zooms back in on arrival — fully animated and configurable.
Configurable pull and push stages for the zoom, with per-dimension settings for the Overworld, Nether and End.
Distinctive sound effects for each animation step: camera zoom, step flash, and travel wind.
A subtle screen flash at each zoom stage to enhance the transition.
Terrain fades out and in following the camera's direction of travel, avoiding abrupt visual cuts. Nearby destinations use a smooth slide; distant ones mask the mid-flight chunk load with a short fade.
Optionally freeze movement and look controls during the transition.
Built around Waystones teleports; plays nicely with Sodium, Iris, Distant Horizons, Bobby, Voxy and Leawind's Third Person.
Full animation support for dimension changes, with a fallback for when destination chunks are still loading.
Every parameter — heights, tick lengths, volumes, toggles — is adjustable from the in-game config screen or the config file.
