Oxygan is a high-performance, modular client-side utility framework for Minecraft. It decouples the rendering of native HUD elements to grant players total layout control via a real-time, interactive editor, while integrating lightweight occlusion culling and memory optimization layers to significantly increase frame rates (FPS) and eliminate garbage collection (GC) micro-stutter.
Interactive Geometry Editing: Allows players to drag, drop, toggle, and reposition every individual HUD component (Hotbar, Health, Armor, Hunger, Air, Experience Bar, Keystrokes, CPS, Direction HUD, and Armor Status).
Proportional Scaling & Alignment: Calculates positions dynamically relative to GUI scale and screen aspect ratio (using a simulated 427x240 canvas), preventing off-screen offsets when changing resolution.
Live Preview System: Features a 16:9 sandbox preview inside the settings sidebar, enabling instant style testing and drag configuration without leaving options.
Native Sprite Redirection: Uses mixins to redirect native Minecraft sprites (blitSprite) to custom namespaces.
Component Styling: Supports themed overrides for crucial gameplay icons:
-Hearts, Food, & Air Bubbles: 14+ distinct themes (Golden, Crystal, Obsidian, etc.) including fallback logic for styles lacking custom assets.
-Hotbar & XP Bars: Custom beveled backgrounds and animated level indicators (Neon, Steampunk, Minimal Stark).
-Armor Status & Keystrokes: Custom HUD panels with modular styles (Classic Dark, Frosted Glass, Chroma RGB, Cyber Neon) rendering live durability percentages and key inputs.
Occlusion & Frustum Culling: Restricts rendering of out-of-view or blocked elements including clouds, weather/rain frustums, beacon beams, item frames, and signs.
Distant AI Suppression: Temporarily halts rendering updates for entities beyond client-configured thresholds.
Particle Budgeting: Sets limits on active particle lifespans and counts to stabilize frame rates during heavy entity interaction (e.g., explosions, intense PvP).
Palettes & Cache Optimization: Compacts voxel palettes and manages block/item model cache limits to optimize heap allocation.
Smart Garbage Collection (GC) Pacing: Safely coordinates memory allocations to reduce memory spikes.
Recycling & Chunk Trimming: Employs buffer recycling and off-camera chunk garbage collection.
Tumbling Item Physics: Custom mathematical models calculating friction, bounce, and flat-lay angles for dropped items.
Blast Debris Physics: Propels physical block debris outward dynamically based on TNT explosion vectors.
Dynamic Lights & Smooth Camera Zoom.
