Give Minecraft a new look with customizable HUD elements, a live scoreboard designer, separate chat windows, animated colors, and two independent layouts.
Interface HUD is a client-side Fabric mod that lets you redesign your Minecraft interface around the way you play. Move important information where you want it, reduce clutter with compact displays, build your own scoreboard, and keep different conversations in separate in-game windows.
Designed for any server and singleplayer, with all customization handled on your client.
Customize a wide range of interface elements:
Hotbar
XP bar and level number
Health, hunger, armor, and oxygen
Potion and status effects
Held-item information
Action-bar messages
Titles and subtitles
Boss bars
Main chat
Two additional filtered chat windows
Scoreboard panels
Session information
Crosshair appearance
Drag HUD elements around the screen
Resize elements independently
Rotate panels to fit your design
Choose horizontal or vertical arrangements where supported
Keep text upright when changing layout orientation
Use compact displays to save space
Adjust element opacity from 0–100%
Control background opacity separately
Choose custom, vanilla, or hidden presentation where available
Fine-tune placement with keyboard controls
The crosshair stays centered on your aim. Titles and subtitles share one movable widget.
Solid colors
Custom gradients
Animated rainbow colors
Wave effects
Adjustable animation speed
Custom text coloring
Option to preserve original server text colors
Background and border styling
Optional smooth font
Create a subtle interface with muted panels, or use animated colors throughout your layout.
Create your own scoreboard directly in Minecraft, using custom content, information from the server, or a combination of both.
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Server | Displays the server scoreboard |
| Custom | Displays your custom scoreboard design |
| Combined | Combines server information with custom content |
Add custom text and live placeholders
Use expressions, conditions, and custom variables
Add icons, dividers, and spacing rows
Change individual row styling and scale
Name and organize rows
Duplicate, reorder, disable, or delete entries
Map server information using source and regex rules
Copy the live server sidebar into your design
Import configurations from Custom Scoreboard HUD Designer
Split your scoreboard into two independently configured panels.
Keep your main information in a vertical sidebar and move other sections into a horizontal panel along the bottom of the screen.
Enable or disable split mode
Drag rows between panels in Arrange rows
Choose automatic distribution or manual assignments
Preserve the original row order within each panel
Restore automatic assignments when needed
Set each panel’s position, scale, rotation, and opacity
Choose a separate orientation for each panel
Enable compact mode independently
Use fixed horizontal dimensions so changing values do not constantly resize the panel
Save different arrangements in each profile
Split mode is optional. You can continue using a single scoreboard panel.
Keep conversations organized with two additional chat windows, each with its own filters and layout.
Use one for party messages, another for whispers, or combine several categories into a dedicated window.
| Filter | Messages |
|---|---|
| Global | Messages beginning with [All] |
| Party | Messages beginning with [Party], with configurable prefixes |
| Whispers | Supported vanilla private-message formats and configurable prefixes |
| Discord | Messages beginning with [Discord] |
| System | Otherwise unclassified messages |
| Twitch | Messages identified through Twitch Chat Bridge integration |
Independent message filters for each window
Option to keep or remove filtered messages from main chat
Always-visible or fading displays
Fading panels adapt to the amount of visible content
Scrollable message history
Supported click and hover actions
Custom text coloring or original message colors
Configurable prefixes for supported message categories
Supported leading timestamps are ignored during detection, so matching timestamp settings are not required.
Server chat formats vary. Use the available prefix settings to adjust detection for your server. These windows remain inside Minecraft.
Use Twitch Chat Bridge alongside Interface HUD to display Twitch messages in a dedicated in-game chat window.
Separate Twitch messages from other chat categories
Preserve supported badges and emotes
Retain supported message interactions
Style and position the window alongside your other HUD elements
Twitch Chat Bridge is optional. It handles the Twitch connection; Interface HUD handles the filtered HUD display.
Choose which effects deserve space on your screen.
Compact and detailed displays
Effect icons
Duration information
Infinite-duration effect support
Hide selected effects individually
Custom positioning, scale, rotation, and opacity
Create two different HUD setups and switch between them without rebuilding your layout.
Each profile keeps its own:
Element positions and scales
Rotation and opacity
Visibility toggles
Compact settings
Colors and visual styles
Chat filters and window layouts
Scoreboard design
Split-scoreboard assignments
Rename your profiles to make each setup easy to identify.

This is a client-side mod. It does not need to be installed on the Minecraft server.
Optional integrations may require newer dependency versions. Other mods that replace the same HUD elements may need configuration to prevent overlapping displays.
HUD settings and profiles are stored locally in:
config/oml-interface-profiles.json
The original configuration filename is retained for compatibility with existing setups.
Back up this file if you want to keep a copy of your layouts or transfer your configuration to another installation.
