The Lurker (also known as the Cave Lurker) is a dangerous hostile mob found in the Deep Dark biome. Players are strongly advised to exercise caution, as this creature is known to intentionally trigger a nearby Warden, creating a deadly combination of abilities.
Spawning:
One Lurker can spawn per chunk within the Deep Dark.
Abilities:
Terrifying Aura: Inflicts Slowness and Blindness on all players within a 50-block radius.
Impenetrable Hide: Immune to all standard melee and projectile damage.
Projectile Punishment: Any projectile that strikes the Lurker is instantly transformed into a hostile Silverfish.
Disarming Strike: A player who successfully damages the Lurker will be forced to drop the item held in their main hand.
How to Damage:
The Lurker is only vulnerable to attacks from any type of pickaxe.
Special Ability: Warden Synergy
When a Warden is within 30 blocks of a Lurker, they "team-up." This triggers a special attack where yellow dust particles appear and Evoker fangs erupt randomly from the ground around them.
