Mining in Minecraft can get boring at times. You have a pickaxe and you just mine and mine. DigDug aims to change that and even plans to change the armor/tool progression PAST Netherite while still feeling vanilla. With new foods, tools, ores, and even mobs, DigDug tries to ensure you will NEVER be bored while mining.
A new ore found within the deep swamps of the world. It can only be found in Swamps and Mangrove Swamp biomes from y=64 all the way down to bedrock. This ore can be used alongside a Poisonous Potato & a Fermented Spider Eye to create a Hexed Potato. (More on Hexed Potatoes soon...)
A new gemstone found in any snow biome, it currently doesn't have a use. However, I do have major plans for it in the future.
A new favorite ore of mine, it can be found ANYWHERE below y=24. When mined or interacted with, it will explode and can cause a chain reaction with other Boomite Ores. When mined, it drops Gunpowder however I do aim to change that. When powered with Redstone, it becomes Charged Boomite Ore which creates a bigger explosion. It can also be used to craft a new tool, useful for mining...
A new ore found only above the clouds of the world (y=192 and above), this ore can be used to create sky-themed blocks. There is currently only one however there will be more soon.
A chicken found in Mushroom Fields that is similar to the Mooshroom. Originally added in Minecraft Earth, I decided to bring it into the world.
A new hostile mob, normally spawning with a Wooden Hoe. It is immune to melee and ranged damage but is prone to explosive and fire damage. Basically, you cannot hit or shoot at it, but you can set it on fire! It has a chance to drop an Ominous Potato.
A chestplate enchantment that increases your Block Reach! It can go up to level 3.
A chestplate enchantment that increases your Attack Reach! It can also go up to level 3.
A pickaxe enchantment that allows you to safely mine Boomite without it exploding.
You can now craft Rotten Flesh to Leather by a simple system!
A new way to brew effects. These are a stackable way to consume potions and can even fill up some hunger! However, the effects only last 2 minutes and you get 2 minutes of Unluckiness alongside it.
A new tool useful for mining! Using 3 Paper and 1 Boomite Ore OR 2 Gunpowder and 1 Sand, you can create a throwable version of TnT. It's especially useful while mining for Ancient Debris in the Nether.
An alloy created with 2 Iron Ingots and 1 Netherite Ingot, it begins the new tier of items that will come after Netherite.
