This mod moves most ore generation to the sides of caves, making it much quicker to get the ores you need. However, strip mining is now a mostly ineffective method to get ores now, as ores are now on the sides of caves instead of buried in the large areas of stone. This isn't perfect, so if there are no caves in a chunk the ore will still be generated normally.
Currently, only vanilla ores are supported, however modded ores support is planned.
Installation:
Drop this mod into the mods folder in a 1.8 minecraft forge. This mod requires AlexIILLib version 1.3 or greater.
