The Giant Pickaxe (Japanese: 巨大ツルハシ, Hepburn: Kyodai Tsuruhashi?) is a pickaxe created for Sapphire by Icco White using the Imagination II Mod Power in Minecraft: The Manga.[1]
Appearance
The Giant Pickaxe resembles a regular Iron Pickaxe, only massive.
Functionality
The Giant Pickaxe presumably works as a regular pickaxe.
Due to its large size, it is extremely heavy,[2] and can be used as a large, blunt weapon by those who can lift it.[1]
Techniques
Sapphire has one named technique, which she uses in combat.
- Wild Digging (暴れ掘り, Abare Bori?): Gripping the pickaxe with both hands, Sapphire swings and throws herself forward, decimating any enemies and blocks she runs into.[2]

History
Eight years ago, while passing by a village, Icco White rescued Sapphire from a horde of monsters. As he stayed in the village to recover from the battle, Sapphire tried to convince him to bring her along on his adventures, but he refused. In an attempt to discourage her, Icco crafted the Giant Pickaxe and told her she could become an adventurer when she was strong enough to lift it, assuming she would give up before she could.
Eventually, however, Sapphire became strong enough to lift the pickaxe, and set out as a traveling crafter.[1]
She continues to travel with the Giant Pickaxe, using it in her crafts and as a weapon to defend herself from monsters.[2]
