Retro VHS Shader

A lightweight shader that gives Minecraft the look of an old VHS recording.

Retro VHS Shader recreates the visual style of analog video tapes and CRT displays using a collection of classic post-processing effects. From subtle tape noise and scanlines to chromatic aberration and tracking distortion, the goal is to capture the nostalgic feel of 80s and 90s home video while remaining fully playable.

Whether you're building retro-inspired worlds, creating horror content, or simply looking for a unique visual style, this shader adds an authentic analog aesthetic without dramatically changing Minecraft's gameplay.
