The Grimdark Tools pack is a fresh take on the traditional Minecraft textures. Drawing inspiration from other dark fantasy worlds, this pack provides item and tool textures with more detail that will look great in your medieval worlds while maintaining play-ability. This pack contains 'just the tools' and item textures which makes it easy to pair with a builder's pack of your choosing or to simply enhance your toolbar while building with the vanilla block textures.
If you just want tool, weapon, and item textures, this is the pack for you. However, if you like this pack I would encourage you to complete the set with my GRIMDARK ARMOR, or grab all my textures in the GRIMDARK BATTLEPACK, which includes not only the armor textures and variants but also custom textures for crafting tables, torches, lanterns, chains, stained glass, sun, moon, skies and more!
This pack includes variants for each of the primary tools (Optifine Required). These variant textures are accessible by renaming your tools and weapons at an anvil. For example, renaming your Diamond Sword to include "Katana" anywhere in the name will change the texture to the katana variant, etc. Any naming conventions that do not include a variant identifier will use the standard texture.

Sword: Broadsword (default), Dagger, Katana, Odachi, Viking, Spear, Glaive, Greatsword, Cutlass
Axe: Broadaxe (default), Hatchet, Ono, Viking, Halberd, Battleaxe
Shovel: Trencher (default), Pitchfork, Spade, Viking, Warfork
Pickaxe: Classic (default), Mallet, Mattock, Viking, Warhammer, Sledge
Hoe: Handscythe (default), Sickle, Kama, Viking, Greatscythe

SHIELD & BOW VARIANTS

Shield: Tate (default), Buckler, Heater, Tower, Rond, Halves, Quarters, Dragon, Wooden, Stone, Iron, Golden, Diamond, Netherite
Bow: Recurve (default), Shortbow, Yumi, Greatbow, Stone, Iron, Golden, Diamond, Netherite
