in 1950's soviets made a contest for a marksman weapon that could replace the old ass Mosin nagant M91/30. Yevgeny dragunov and mikhail kalasnikov were main rivals but yevgeny won with the SVD in 1961. it has a 10 round detachable magazine, it is chambered in 7.62x54mmR, wooden skeleton stock and be attached with a PSO-1 scope, it was used in conflicts like warsaw pact intervention in czechoslovakia, soviet afghan war, chechen wars and that damn thing is still used today. the gun in my pack has no scope, a custom off hand position (it's other than the AK'S and SKS this time) and custom gunshot sound effect
