Description

Allows players to join from any version to your server without any client-side mod required through packet manipulation!
Worried about the server-list issues? It's all good! The plugin also takes care of that side.

Installation and Setup

Download the attached .jar file and put in *bukkitfolder*./plugins.
Then restart/reload your server and be aware of the loading messages.

Then, navigate to the ./plugins/VersionIgnore folder and edit the config file in the way you wish the plugin should operate.

Metrics and Auto-updating

DISCLAIMER: The auto-updater is enabled by default, to disable it - goto /VersionIgnore Rewrite/config.yml and change autoUpdate to false.

This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version

• Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
  

Warning

Version Ignore - Rewritten could not work with any version due to minecraft-related changes and protocol errors. This plugin was test on a few version but will not operate with version lower than 1.7.2 due to the huge protocol change. Anyhow, you could always change the protocol method to the 'older' feature and the plugin will support 1.6.4 and lower versions.
