TrueSeasons brings your Minecraft server to life with a fully dynamic 4-season cycle, custom visual environmental effects, climate-based survival mechanics, and seamless admin management!
Built natively for Minecraft 1.21+, it adds realistic seasonal changes without requiring heavy resource packs or complicated client-side mods.
☀️ Summer — Heat & Hydration
Heatstroke Mechanic: Unhydrated players suffer from periodic Weakness.
Hydration System: Drink a standard Water Bottle to stay hydrated and immune to heat for 10 minutes!
Peak Breeding: Animal breeding grants 3x XP bonus.
🍂 Autumn — Falling Leaves & Crisp Air
Atmospheric Visuals: Custom leaf-fall particles (warm autumn colors: gold, orange, crimson, brown) float down around non-coniferous trees.
Balanced Gameplay: Perfect transitional period to prepare shelter and armor for winter.
❄️ Winter — Harsh Cold & Freezing Winds
Freezing & Cold Damage: Players taking on survival without enough clothes take cold damage! (Requires at least 2 pieces of armor by default).
World Freezing: Water surfaces freeze into ice and snow accumulates over exposed terrain.
Particle Snowstorms: 3D snowflake particles constantly drift around online players.
Suppressed Storms: Rainy storms are automatically prevented to maintain a crisp winter feel.
Low Livestock Fertility: Harsh conditions cause animal breeding to fail **80% of the time**.
