A lightweight Spigot/Paper plugin that gives staff a proper, complete vanish command — invisible, removed from the tab list, excluded from the player count, with fake leave/join broadcasts.
/vanish doeshidePlayer — which also removes them from the tab list, since it's the same underlying mechanism{player} left the game / {player} joined the game, fully customizable), and also suppresses the real vanilla join/quit messages while vanished/vanish — toggle your own vanish (permission vanishlite.use)/vanish <player> — toggle another player's vanish (permission vanishlite.others)/vanish list — list currently vanished players (permission vanishlite.admin)/vanish reload — reload config.yml (permission vanishlite.admin)/vEverything lives in config.yml: toggle the invisibility effect and flight independently, toggle the player-count adjustment, and customize every message.
Walking through solid blocks (true noclip) and being able to place blocks are mutually exclusive in vanilla Minecraft — the only mode that clips through blocks (Spectator) disables world interaction at the client level, not just server-side. Since normal block placement while vanished was a requirement, this plugin uses free flight instead: you never clip through walls, but you get unrestricted movement without your gamemode ever changing, so building/interacting stays completely normal. This is the same approach every well-known vanish plugin takes, for the same reason.
Single JAR, no version-specific (NMS) code, no packet manipulation — works from Minecraft 1.13 up to the current version (26.2), on Spigot, Paper, and Paper forks.
