Features Temperature System Tracks player temperature on a scale from 0 to 100. Temperature changes based on biome (hot, cold, normal), water immersion, and proximity to heat sources (campfires, furnaces, lava, fire). Players take damage when temperature is too low (freezing) or too high (burning). Temperature is displayed in the action bar as Temperature: current/max. Optional chat messages notify players of their temperature status. Configurable biome lists, temperature change rates, damage thresholds, and damage amounts. Commands to reload config and show help under /mrs. Torch Burnout Torches placed by players burn out after a configurable time (default 10 minutes). Burnt torches are removed and optionally replaced with a “burnt torch” item (default charcoal). Torches placed in creative mode or by players with permission morerealisticsurvival.torch.infinite do not burn out. Efficient scheduled task checks and removes burnt torches. Crop Rot Fully grown crops (wheat, carrots, potatoes) rot if not harvested within a configurable time (default 30 minutes). Rot replaces crops with dead bushes or deletes them, configurable. Crop rot timer resets on player interaction or chunk unload. Encourages active farming and prevents indefinite crop preservation. Wild Growth Grass, tall g rass, and flowers randomly spread to nearby dirt or grass blocks during daylight. Variety of flowers and plants spread naturally. Configurable spread chance and interval. Enhances world aesthetics and natural feel. Thirst System Players have a water level that depletes over time, influenced by biome temperature. Water loss rates configurable per biome (hot, cold, default). Players can collect water by filling glass bottles from water or waterlogged blocks. Water bottles come in two types: dirty water and clean water. Dirty water can be purified in furnaces or campfires. Drinking dirty water restores some hydration but applies poison effect. Drinking clean water restores more hydration safely. Low water levels cause slowness; zero water causes periodic damage. Water level is displayed on the XP bar as a percentage. Commands under /mrs water allow players to check water level and admins to give water bottles. Commands /mrs help — Shows help for all commands. /mrs config reload — Reloads plugin configuration. /mrs water check — Shows player's current water level. /mrs water give <clean|dirty> — Gives water bottles to player (admin only). Permissions: morerealisticsurvival.admin for admin commands. morerealisticsurvival.torch.infinite to prevent torch burnout. Configuration Fully configurable via config.yml. Temperature settings: biome lists, rates, damage thresholds, damage amounts, display options. Torch burnout: burnout time, burnt torch drop toggle. Crop rot: rot time, replacement behavior. Wild growth: spread chance and interval. Water system: max water, starting water, restore amounts, biome loss rates, dehydration damage and intervals, poison effect settings.
