This plugin changes Minecraft to bring it into nightmare difficulty!

What is EC?

EnderCrypt's Challenge is a server sided paper plugin for Minecraft. Meaning: only the server needs it and everyone playing connects using a vanilla client.

What does it change?

for the most part, you are intended to play and experience all the changes of the plugin at your own rate. however some examples are:

• Spiders lay eggs, causing a progressively growing population.
• Skeletons explode into arrows on death.
• Adult zombies will pickup and throw baby zombies at players.

thats 3 out of 130 features, enjoy encountering the rest :)

Why change difficulty?

Minecraft isn't a very challenging game. The developers seem to be much more interested in player-friendly peaceful aspects of the game, forgetting about the threat that mobs bring to the game. This plugin aims to fix the lack of danger when fighting monsters, and overhauls the gameplay to adjust the way you interact with them. It adds new abilities to existing mobs and makes the ones ignored by developers much more varying in behavior, but also tweaks their spawn rates and conditions. On top of that, several surprises are in store for those who wish to accept the challenge in forms of nightmarish events. This plugin will make you feel like its your first night struggling to survive in Minecraft!

What is the intended way to play this?

• Play on easy difficulty. (im not kidding when i said that this is a challenge.)
• Normal/Hard difficulties are designed for hardened group of players, and will not hold back!
• Play slowly and carefully, learn the new quirks and use them to your advantage if you wish to survive.

Optional Integration:

• CoreProtect any block modifications will be logged into CoreProtect, allowing rollback of damage

important notes:

• expect bugs and performance issues, especially when theres alot of players online. (3 or less players recommended)
• the end works but will throw errors in the console, these will be fixed in an upcoming version and are safe to ignore for now.
