Bookshelves Enhanced is an easy to use plugin which allows players to store books and maps inside of bookshelves. To use this plugin just drop it in your plugin folder and restart your server. The plugin works on all versions of Minecraft for as far as I know. 

A bookshelf has 9 slots and only allows for books, maps and paper to be inserted. When sneaking you won't open the GUI. When breaking a bookshelf, it will now drop the items stored in it.

The plugin has been tested a lot and as of right now doesn't contain any bugs.

Summary:

• Store up to 9 items in a bookshelf (configurable)
• Only books, maps and paper can be stored in bookshelves
• Content of the bookshelf drops when destroyed
• Shift-click to not open the GUI
• Reloading doesn't break the plugin
• Command: /Bookshelf, only for operators
• Modify the GUI size using the command [1]
• Toggle whether a bookshelf should drop books or itself when broken [2]
• If enabled hoppers will interact with bookshelves [3]
• Pistons can no longer pull or push bookshelves
• If enabled, plugin will make back-ups of data file automatically [4]
• Perform a command to manually back-up the data file [5]
• TAB to complete commands
• Sounds for when you open/close a bookshelf (if enabled) [6]
• Configure in what worlds the plugin will be active

Updating

This plugin will update pretty frequently to add new features and fix bugs (if any). Updating this plugin is as easy as downloading it. Just remove the old Bookshelf.jar file and replace it with the newest version. The data will remain so don't worry about losing players progress.

Data

This plugin stores all data in a single config file, this includes bookshelf contents and hopper data. In the last update (please check status on the top), an automatic back-up system was added. If enabled will back-up the data file when the server starts. If for whatever reason you need to restore a back-up file just rename this particular file to "config.yml", and replace the current config.yml by it.
