Description

The main reason I enjoy minecraft is the sense of freedom and almost childlike wonder that comes with it. 

 

So I'm capitalizing on that fact by making a mod because I need validation :D

Music Discs

Some of the main features of this mod are music discs. Here's a full list of each disc and its composer:

Krups

Krups are little humanoid mobs that run around your world. They can spawn pretty much anywhere there's sunlight, but are fairly rare. They are useful for forging music discs. They do not drop anything on death, and are normally passive but become hostile if attacked.

There are two different kinds of Krups: Wave Krups, and Cardboard Krups. The only difference is a Wave Krup has a television for a head, whereas a Cardboard Krup has an upside-down cardboard box with eyeholes cut into it.

 

 

Disc Forging System

The music discs above can be forged by Krups if you bring them a Blank Music Disc and specific Musical Essence. A Blank Disc is crafted with four iron ingots and four iron nuggets. Blank Musical Essence is crafted with a jukebox and four diamonds. However, you will need a specific type of Musical Essence to be able to get the disc you want. Combining blank Musical Essence with certain items in a smithing table will create the kind needed to forge a music disc. The list of smithing recipes for the different kinds of Musical Essence is as follows(although if you have JEI installed you don't need to see this list; the recipes will be in JEI):

 

Blank Essence + Spruce Log = Shire Essence

Blank Essence + Birch Log = Birch Essence

Blank Essence + Block of Clay = Clay Essence

Blank Essence + Cyan Glazed Terracotta = 18 Essence

Blank Essence + Diamond = Cloud Essence

Blank Essence + Blue Bed = Cradle Essence

Blank Essence + Emerald = Omen Essence

Blank Essence + Diamond Axe = Dream Essence

Blank Essence + Shulker Shell = Shell Essence

Blank Essence + Eye of Ender = Ender Essence

 

To forge a music disc, you will need to find a Krup. Right-clicking on it will open the Disc Forging gui. Place a Blank Music Disc and a Musical Essence Essence (The type of essence determines which disc will be forged) into the correct slots, and press the Request button. The Krup will then forge a Disc for you, which will appear in the output slot. A list of which Musical Essence corresponds to each disc is as follows:

 

Shire Essence = Concerning Hobbits

Birch Essence = Birch Bop

Clay Essence = Clay

18 Essence = 18

Cloud Essence = Clouds

Cradle Essence = Cradle

Omen Essence = Omen

Dream Essence = Roadtrip

Shell Essence = Shulk

Ender Essence = Tall
