SBW Optimized is a client-side rendering optimization mod for Superb Warfare. It makes Superb Warfare vehicles much lighter to render, and it includes the mesh-model loader used by Superb Warfare addons (formerly SBW Mesh Loader).
⚠ This mod does not add any tanks or fighter jets by itself. To add tanks and jets, install Superb Modern Combat together with this mod.
🧪 This mod is in beta. It may behave unexpectedly.
🚫 Please do not report bugs from SBW Optimized to the Superb Warfare servers under any circumstances. Report them in the comments section of this mod or on Vell's Mods info server.
All Superb Warfare vehicles, both cube models and mesh models, are rendered with VBOs (Vertex Buffer Objects). Each vehicle part is uploaded to the GPU once. After that, each frame only has to tell the GPU where each part is, instead of re-processing every vertex on the CPU.
poly_mesh models for Superb Warfare addons and renders them with VBOs.translucent in their name are drawn with correct transparency.config/sbwoptimized-client.toml. Changes apply while the game is running.

Client-side only. Install it on the client. It does nothing on a server and is not required there.
If you used SBW Mesh Loader before, remove it. SBW Optimized replaces it.
If you release a Superb Warfare addon that uses mesh models through this mod's loader, you must list SBW Optimized as a dependency.
For usage examples, see the Superb Modern Combat source code. Moving from SBW Mesh Loader only requires changing the package names (com.example.sbwmeshloader.core → com.velleagle.sbwoptimized.meshloader).
