Adds configurable hoe compatibility to Pylons' Harvester Pylon.
Pylons' HarvesterPylonTile decides whether an item counts as a "hoe" with a single hardcoded check:
return stack.getItem() instanceof HoeItem;
There is no tag or config option to change this. Modded farming tools that don't extend vanilla's HoeItem — most notably Tinkers' Construct's Kama, which is a concrete class and can't be made to inherit from HoeItem — are silently rejected by the Harvester Pylon's tool slot, even though they function as harvesting tools in every other context.
Pylons Hoe Compat uses a Mixin to hook into HarvesterPylonTile#isItemValid. If the vanilla check returns false, it performs one additional check: is this item's registry name in a configurable allow-list? If so, the item is accepted as a valid tool for the Harvester Pylon.
modid:item_id) string, so this works with any mod's tools.tconstruct:kama) is allowed by default.A server config file is generated at config/pylonshoecompat-server.toml:
extraHoeItems = ["tconstruct:kama"]
Add any other item's registry name to extraHoeItems to let the Harvester Pylon accept it as well — no coding or additional mod updates required.
isItemValid implementation should work but are untested.MIT
