Dwarven Realm is an addon to LOTR, the theme of which are two factions of oriental dwarves, missing in the game. The creator is Hummel009.
Created in the fall of 2020 as a rethink of the LOTR+ sub-mod created by FirstKalik. The submod had a bad reputation: it had many bugs, was built on an outdated version and had obscure content (playable Utumno). So Hummel009 decided to rework the submod in the form of an addon and fix all the mistakes of a colleague, as well as narrowing the theme: only 2 factions of gnomes. The mod was developed and released within a few weeks.
On July 27, 2022, the mod was re-released with all bugs corrected as part of LOTR: The Trilogy. At the moment, the addon is compatible with the newest version of LOTR - v36.14, Minecraft 1.7.10.
Codename: RED_MOUNTAINS
Description: The Red Mountains are the four clans of the Orocarni Dwarves. They fight on the side of good and maintain friendly relations with the dwarves of the West. Unique mobs — Dwarves-flamethrowers.
Codename: WIND_MOUNTAINS
Description: Mountains of the Wind are a faction of dwarves in the Mountains of the Wind. Once they were a colony of the Red Mountains. However, over time, their paths diverged - so, in the War of the Last Alliance, the Dwarves of the Wind Mountains swore allegiance to Sauron. They are currently the only evil dwarf faction in the game. However, they do not forget their roots and are neutral towards other dwarves, which cannot be said about elves and humans. Unique mobs — dwarf crossbowmen.
