# Noches Muertas

Noches Muertas is a progressive zombie survival mod for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 where every night becomes more dangerous.

The world starts familiar, but the infection grows day by day. Zombies become stronger, special infected appear, hordes pressure your base, blood moon events punish noise, and survival becomes a race to research, fortify, adapt, and push deeper into the outbreak.

## The Core Idea

Noches Muertas is built around escalation.

Early survival focuses on basic weapons, food, medicine, and shelter. As the days pass, the infection spreads, stronger infected begin to appear, and the player is pushed into research, better equipment, defenses, and teamwork.

By the time the world reaches the Total Outbreak, the Overworld is no longer safe. The Nether becomes the next infected phase, with stronger enemies, harsher environmental pressure, new materials, new weapons, and a path toward future endgame progression.
