Farm mob drops in a single block. Add a voodoo doll and its matching environment block, and the cube generates loot without spawning mobs. A miniature mob inside the cage shows what it’s working on.
Craft an Inactive Mob Mashing Cube with eight iron chains around an ender pearl, then surround it with eight oak logs to make a Wood cube.
Place the cube and put the doll and environment block into their separate slots. Neither is consumed. Collect the loot yourself or connect item pipes. If the output fills up, the cube holds its pending loot until there’s room.

Each doll provides drops from its matching dimension or mobs. Warden, Wither, and Ender Dragon require special environments to be enabled.
The Wither Doll recipe uses a Nether Star and a Wither Skeleton Skull. The Ender Dragon Doll uses Dragon’s Breath and a Dragon Head.
Need farmland? Craft dirt with any hoe. The hoe is returned with one durability used, unless it breaks.

Surround the previous cube with eight of the next tier’s material: cobblestone, iron ingots, gold ingots, diamonds, or netherite ingots.
Higher tiers run faster, unlock more output slots, and add Looting. Default cycle times range from 20 seconds to 2 seconds, with up to 25 output slots.
Cubes store XP alongside their loot. Use Collect XP to claim it, or extract it through fluid pipes. Just Dire Things’ Experience Holder is supported, including transfers through Pipez.
Middle-click the output inventory or press Sort to organize drops alphabetically. Inventory Essentials’ sort key is also supported.
With Apotheosis installed, cubes can drop gems and affix weapons and armor. Equipment enchantments scale with the highest active world tier among online players. When everyone leaves, cubes use the last disconnected player’s saved tier and luck until the server shuts down.
Affix equipment drops get a rarity-colored jackpot effect. Apotheosis is optional.
Insert dolls and environment blocks from the top; extract items from the sides or bottom. XP fluid can be extracted from any face.
Modpack creators can adjust cycle speeds, inventory capacity, Looting, XP rewards, equipment chances, and effects. JSON files allow custom mob drops and XP values, while datapacks can change mob pools and environments. JEI can show the available doll and block combinations.
Chunks must remain loaded and ticking for production. Cubes do not load chunks themselves.
