This mod allows modpack developers to gate usage of Xaero's Map and Minimap behind a Curios item that requires power. Unless the player has a GPS with remaining battery life equipped and on, neither Xaero's Minimap or Map will work. This allows for greater immersion in modpacks while still giving players a great deal of use out of their GPS.
Expect a balancing patch once this is added to a pack and receives substantial feedback.
This battery system is more rigid than I would like but it works well for now. If you have a specific mod with which you'd like to see compatibility, please let me know in the comments.
