Explore familiar biomes with unfamiliar vegetation, encounter creatures far from their natural homes, and open chests without knowing what you’ll find.
Extreme Randomizer mixes biomes, vegetation, mobs, and generated loot across the Overworld, Nether, and End. Deserts retain their sand and snowy regions retain their recognizable surfaces? but what grows and lives there can be completely unexpected.
Invest XP in permanent skill trees, discover mysterious Tarot effects, build village defenses, and gamble your levels at animated Mystery Boxes.
Available on Fabric and NeoForge.
Weather follows Minecraft’s normal system. Non-ocean water lakes and pools have a 25% chance to become lava, while oceans retain their water so ocean monuments remain possible.
Select a mode using the glowing Randomizer Mode button directly below Game Mode when creating your world.
The most forgiving way to enter an unpredictable world.
Dangerous nights, chaotic surprises, and more room to survive than Complete Chaos.
For players who consider balance an optional feature.
Normal and Intense use reduced spawn pressure and local population limits. Automatic randomized spawns respect a 24-block exclusion radius around players, preventing mobs from appearing directly in front of you. Deliberately triggered summons are separate.
Find Zombies-inspired Mystery Box sites at newly generated structures throughout all three dimensions.
One in four successfully placed sites is active. Inactive locations display stacked crates with a teddy bear. Active boxes emit a blue sky beam that begins above the box and displayed item. The beam passes through no more than five solid block layers.
Only the paying player can claim the reward. The prompt shows the price, not the remaining rolls.
Outside Fire sale, only one box per chunk can be active. After six normal rolls, the teddy floats upward and the box closes and disappears, leaving an inactive marker.
Departure has a 20% chance to summon a Warden beside the last roller when there is room—including in Normal mode. This is a triggered box event, not a random natural spawn.
Boxes cannot be broken by survival players, explosions, Withers, or Ender Dragons. Creative players can remove them.
The Fire sale Tarot outcome activates every Mystery Box site for 90 seconds, including exhausted boxes and multiple boxes in the same chunk.
During Fire sale:
Normal prices and active-box limits return afterward. Already-paid rolls can still finish and be claimed within their reward window.
Every card has the same white face and large black question mark. You won’t know what it does until you use it.
Hold a card in your selected hotbar slot and press E to consume it.
The 34 outcomes include helpful boosts, bonus hearts, enchantment changes, invisibility, lava walking, random mob summons, disabled sprinting, scrambled basic controls, deleted inventory stacks, forced Nether travel, instant death, and Fire sale.
Cards appear in Complete Chaos chest loot and mob drops, or occasionally from killed hostile mobs in Intense. Loot stacks contain no more than two cards.

Fate Manipulation gradually shifts randomness in your favor, improving favorable Tarot odds and reducing dangerous random encounters.
Village Guardian unlocks cheaper trades, healthier villagers, and upgrades to Big Yahu’s health, speed, damage, and red eye lasers. Later upgrades grant a personal companion and unlock automated village defenses.
Big Yahu 2000 is a legless hovering robot with 300 health, knockback immunity, and Warden-strength melee attacks.
A village deploys one when a boss approaches within 15 blocks. Big Yahu does not join the random mob pool.
Unlock Emergency Frequency to receive a walkie-talkie that calls one personal companion. Hold it and hold E to summon him. He follows and protects you, and the device is restored after death.
Unlock Automated Defense to craft laser turrets. They work only inside villages and fire blue beams at hostile mobs within 10 blocks.
Without a valid bed or respawn-anchor point, death sends you to a random location!
Respawn checks look for clear body and head space, but they do not filter out lava, water, or hazardous surroundings.
Rotating death-screen messages provide encouragement. Depending on your definition of encouragement.
