ExplorerCraft provides map recipes to make it easier to explore and manage maps. Right now it allows you to create new map perfectly aligned to existing maps without having to go to the mapped region first. It allows you to copy overlapping regions between existing maps - no more wasted exploration! Finally, it provides a new way to expand maps which is easier than the vanilla mechanics *and* keeps the information already on the smaller map.
Future updates will include a map tube to let you carry multiple maps without jamming up your inventory and that will automatically align maps for viewing.
