This program is run separately from Minecraft. It displays biome distributions for Climate Control worlds using the Climate Control default settings. This is not a polished product but is being released in response to numerous requests.
The downloadable is a stand-alone program. It retains the AMIDST interface for choosing your Minecraft version but the program will display a world generated with Climate Control defaults regardless of the choice you make.
After you pick a version, you will see a blank screen with some menus. To view a map, choose File->New and then either "From Seed" (you enter the seed) "From File or Folder" (choose the folder containing a minecraft world) or "From Random Seed" (will generate a new random seed). "From File or Folder" *will* load the seed from that world but not any customized generation parameters. Customized generation parameters can be viewed (at present) only by modifying the source code and recompiling. The settings are in the file climateControl.ClimateControlSettings.java in the source available via GitHub.
