Ecotones is a biome overhaul mod for Fabric that attempts to capture the essence of the real world's flora by filling each biome with life, where each generated tree, shrub, and rock is unique in where it generates and the shape. The end result is biome generation that feels natural and incredibly diverse, where even the same biome can feel different from one corner to the other. Currently, the mod adds over 70 distinct biomes, or over 200 when considering variants.
To use this mod, you need to use the "Ecotones" world type when making a new world, or set "level-type=ecotones" when making a new server.

Mod compatibility
Ecotones includes explicit compat for these mods:
