Ever wondered why hostile mobs only become a threat at night?
Daylight Mobs for (Forge) removes that limitation by allowing hostile mobs to remain active during the day. Zombies no longer burn in sunlight, and hostile creatures can spawn even while the sun is shining, making survival dangerous 24 hours a day.
Whether you're building a base, exploring new terrain, or traveling long distances, daylight is no longer a guarantee of safety.
The mod includes a built-in configuration screen accessible directly from the Mods menu.
Choose the exact world day when the mod becomes active.
Examples:
0 = The mod is active immediately.10 = Vanilla gameplay until Day 10.30 = A long preparation period before daytime mobs become a threat.Once the selected day is reached, all enabled Daylight Mobs features become active.
Controls whether undead mobs burn in sunlight.
Controls whether hostile mobs are allowed to spawn during the daytime.
A value between 0.0 and 1.0 that controls the chance of hostile mobs spawning during daylight.
Examples:
0.0 = No daytime spawning0.5 = Half the normal chance1.0 = Full daytime spawningSpecify exactly which hostile mobs can spawn during the day.
Example:
minecraft:zombie,minecraft:skeleton,minecraft:creeper
This allows you to customize the difficulty and create anything from a slightly more dangerous overworld to a full daytime apocalypse.
Vanilla Minecraft becomes significantly safer once the sun rises. This mod removes that safety net and keeps the world feeling hostile at all times.

The original project was released under the Apache License 2.0.
This project is an unofficial Forge 1.20.1 port that preserves the original concept while adding a user-friendly in-game configuration screen.
The mod works on dedicated servers and can be used to make multiplayer survival worlds significantly more challenging.
