Disable Oritech Ores

Features

  • Removes all Oritech ores from world generation
  • No performance impact
  • Compatible with new & existing worlds (existing Oritech ores in already-generated chunks will remain unless removed manually)
  • Perfect for modpacks where Oritech is included but its ores are not desired

Why use this datapack?

  • Maintain balance in your custom modpack
  • Reduce block clutter underground
  • Keep your ore distribution exactly how you want it

Compatibility

  • Works with NeoForge and Fabric (although you don't need this in Fabric, it's in the configs)
  • Fully compatible with all world generation mods
  • Does not remove Oritech items, machines, or other content (only the ores in world generation).

How to install data packs

  1. Download the data pack .zip file (do not extract it).
  2. New world: click Data Packs on the world creation screen and drop the .zip in. Existing world: open .minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacks.
  3. Put the .zip into the datapacks folder of the world (servers: world/datapacks).
  4. Run /reload in game (or rejoin the world) and check it with /datapack list.
