BeSmart

A small data pack for Minecraft: Java Edition.

Features

Villagers no longer trample farmland.

When a villager steps down from a higher block onto a field, the farmland stays intact and the crops are not lost. As a side effect, villagers take no fall damage.

Installation

1. Download BeSmart.zip.
2. Open your world folder:          * Singleplayer: select the world, click Edit, then Open World Folder (or go to saves/<world name>/).      * Server: the world folder on your server (usually world/). 
3. Copy BeSmart.zip into the datapacks/ folder (do not unzip it).
4. Start the world or run /reload in-game.
5. The chat shows the message "BeSmart data pack loaded".

Run /datapack list to check that the pack is active.

Uninstallation

1. Run /datapack disable "file/BeSmart.zip".
2. Delete the file from the datapacks/ folder.

Notes

On some Minecraft versions, the game may mark the pack as incompatible.The pack only affects villagers. Other mobs can still trample farmland.
