Badges update automatically and link to the resource pack page on MineUniverse.
I always hated that banners had smaller pixels, not only on the fabric but on the wooden post too, also the texture is very ugly and simple. There are some resource packs that change the scale of the pixels in the banner, but not the rest of the model.
