This is a reworked project "Some better textures" (resource pack). I tried to improve some of Minecraft's textures and backported new ones (with some help).
What we have now:

different enchanted books*
consistency improvements
variated mobs
luminous textures
new armor textures
backported textures and models*
other changes
Credits:
Textures of stripped wood, chests, fire, particles, torches, spawn eggs, blaze rods, icon bars were taken from the Defaultening resource pack by legovideosrock.
