This resource pack is a faithful recovery of the New Default Betapack V1 and V2, originally released by Jappa and Mojang between December 2017 and January 2018. Before the Village & Pillage update changed the game's look forever, these textures were meant to be tested specifically on version 1.12.
Key features of V1:
Experimental Wheat: The first new crop design with a more vibrant and saturated golden tone.
Early Wood Planks: Softer shading on oak and spruce to reduce visual noise in builds.
Original Brick Redesign: A deeper, more defined red compared to the classic "pinkish" bricks.
Key features of V2:
Early Modern Netherrack: The first iteration of the "fleshy" look, leaving behind the old noisy texture.
Refined Ores: Gold, Diamond, and Iron blocks with the polished shine of the modern era.
Cleaner Glass: Reduced streaks for better visibility while maintaining a classic feel.

Perfect for players who love the 1.12.x modding scene but prefer the "New Default" aesthetic.
