Hey guys, drew6017 back here again today bringing you the plugin XChat! XChat is a bukkit plugin which simply adds a little color to your Minecraft chat.
Features
- Adds color codes using the & symbol

- Alerts all players on the server when you join with a custom message
- Allows you to track how many players join your server and alert players of the number
- Allows you to set a custom name for the server to use when welcoming new players
Commands
- /setcustomname [tag/name/color symbol for chat]
You can set the entire phrase that comes before your chat, unlike any other chat plugin! Just add your tag first, username second, and color code symbol that you want your chat to be. *NOTE* Use &r at the end of your username to use the default chat color.
- /setcounter [on/off]
Enables/Disables the server counting and alerting new players of how many people have joined your server
- /setservername [servername]
Accompanies the /setcounter command and allows you to set a name that you would like to call the server when alerting a new player of how many players have joined your server.
Permissions
- xchat.color - Gives access to color codes in the chat
- xchat.name - Gives access to the ability to change your name/tag/chat color.
- xchat.joinmsg - Alerts players when you join the server with a custom login message
- xchat.counter - Allows players to toggle the new player counting feature.
- xchat.servername - Allows players to change the server name displayed in the counter
Configuration
There is no configuration file for this plugin because you can configure anything you want from commands via the chat.
