Server Monitor

Overview

Server Monitor is a plugin that will, over time, help you manage your server. This plugin monitors everything, from simply the time to how many backups you have, to even the file size of your worlds. Server Monitor is highly configurable, allowing you to choose what you want to see and what you don't.

This plugin was inspired by Performance Monitor. PerformanceMonitor is a plugin I needed badly but could not get due to it being inactive(last known update was for 1.6).

Features

Time

• Show the current server time
• Show the time since the last reload(/reload)
• Show the time since the last full shutdown(/stop)

Memory

• Show used, max, and free memory.

Backup

• Check when the last backup was
• Check the total amount of backups
• Check the backup folders size
• Compatible with almost ANY backup plugin

Player

• View which players have OP
• View the amount of new players since the server's last restart
• View current online players out of max players

Server

• Check your installed Bukkit version
• View all loaded plugins
• View the servers TPS(Warning... is very inaccurate at the moment. Will be fixed later.
• Check a server health meter

World

• View the sizes of worlds
• View the chunks, entities, and living entities of each world

Automatic Monitoring

While the plugin is running, it will check variables of the server for good health. TPS, world sizes, backups, players online, and much more are logged and checked in order to ensure the server is running smoothly. If something goes out of whack, it will notify you and/or other admins.

In update 1.0, these are currently monitored:

• Backups Folder
• Memory
• Time since last restart

Logs

This plugin creates a log file instead of its plugin folder(/servermonitor/Logs). This folder contains a log of the server for each day the server has ran.

It currently logs:

• Backups Folder Warnings
• Memory Warnings

Configuration

For the most part, the config file is pretty self explanatory. It lists every monitor this plugin provides and gives you the option to turn them off/on if you want, as well as settings for when the plugin will warn you about a monitor.
