MewoAntiCheat is a lightweight beta version of a more advanced anti-cheat system that we plan to release in full later on.
This version focuses on detecting common cheats while staying fast and simple so servers can test it easily.
MewoAntiCheat uses a flagging system to detect suspicious activity. Each detection generates a flag, and all flags are tracked automatically using the built-in flag counter, making it easy for admins to monitor suspicious players.
The system is designed to be lightweight while still providing useful data for administrators.
This beta version currently detects several common cheats:
X-Ray
Killaura
Autoclickers
Speed hacking
These are the core cheats that every anti-cheat should be able to detect reliably.
The X-ray detection system logs detailed mining information including:
The ore mined
Coordinates of the mining location
Time the ore was mined
Amount of ore mined
Stone mined around the ore
The system also uses randomized time intervals to prevent players from easily bypassing the detection logic.
Admins can use commands to view:
Who mined specific ores
How much of that ore was mined
The time interval in which it was mined
The surrounding stone mined in the area
This allows administrators to verify whether a player could realistically have mined the ore.
Killaura detection uses three different detection methods:
Method A – CPS Detection
Tracks clicks per second and compares them across multiple intervals to detect abnormal clicking patterns.
Method B – Rotation Detection
Detects unnatural player rotations such as snapping instantly to targets.
Method C – Hit Validation
Detects hitting players through blocks or in situations where the hit should not be possible.
These methods work together to make bypassing the detection much harder.
The autoclicker detection monitors clicking behavior and identifies unnatural clicking patterns that indicate automated clicking.
This is an early beta release of MewoAntiCheat.
The goal is to keep it lightweight, effective, and easy to test while we continue developing the full version.
More detection systems and improvements will be added in future updates.
