LilyAuth is an plugin providing Authentification to LilyBukkit servers. (Not meant to be used with any other versions)
It will make attempts to impersonate others significantly harder.
Players who join the first time have to use /register to authentificate. After that you can use /login to do that.
To edit the world, use commands or for chatting, players will now need to authentificate.
When a player joins with ULPP authentification, passwords are no longer required, as you need to be logged in with a real MC account to join with that.
Note that this plugin does save the user's password hash and (optionally) IP-Addresses locally to be able to authentificate using them.
Offline mode players can decide to not register, but they can not edit the world, online mode players don't need to register at all
