Add some comfort to survival. Build a sauna or hot tub around a craftable Spa Heater, mount a shower, play darts on a Target block, and sit on wool-stair couches to heal. Everything is craftable in survival, needs no resource pack, and the particles and audio are gentle on purpose (both can be switched off).

Features

 Sauna and Hot Tub (Spa Heater)

• Place the heater in a sealed, mostly wooden room for a sauna, or against a small pool of water for a hot tub. One heater can do both.
• Right-click it with an empty hand to see what it detects, and what's wrong if it isn't working.
• Inside you get Regeneration, with soft steam drifting up and the occasional quiet crackle.
• Warm glow: stay at least 20 seconds, then step out and you get Haste and Resistance. The longer you soaked, the longer it lasts, up to 5 minutes.
• Steam (löyly): right-click the heater with a water bucket for a burst of steam and a bonus toward your warm glow.

Shower (Shower Head)

• Mount the head up high with open space under it, then right-click to turn the water on and off.
• Stand under it for 3 seconds to wash off bad effects (poison, weakness, slowness, nausea and more), get a short Speed boost, and put out any fire on you.
• It turns itself off after 2 minutes, or when nobody's nearby.

 Darts

• Right-click to throw. Any vanilla Target block is a dartboard, and the closer to the centre, the more points: 50 / 25 / 15 / 10 / 5.
• Rounds are 3 darts, your personal best is saved, and /comfy darts shows the top scores.
• Darts fly straight, pass through mobs and players without harming them, and never run out.

Couches

• Right-click a wool stair with an empty hand to sit, and sneak to get up.
• Seated players slowly heal, and heal twice as fast with company (another seated player within 4 blocks).
• The new Cushions are sat on by vanilla Minecraft and get the same comfort bonus.
• Optionally let players sit on every kind of stair with couch.all-stairs: true.

Crafting

Players unlock all three recipes when they join. Recipes can be turned off in the config.

Commands and permissions

comfycourtesy.use (default: everyone) controls whether a player can use any of the features.

Configuration

One commented config.yml covers:

• Effects and levels for the sauna, tub, warm glow and shower. Any potion effect works, written as name:level.
• Room size, wood percentage and tub size limits.
• Dart points and round size.
• Couch healing speed, company bonus and seat height.
• Switches for recipes, particles and sounds.

Safe and tidy

• Heaters and shower heads survive explosions, and hoppers can't tamper with them.
• Breaking one gives you the item back.
• Land-claim plugins get the final say, so sitting, the shower and the steam bucket respect your claims.
• Dart scores live in a single scores.yml. If it ever becomes unreadable, a copy is kept instead of being wiped.

Known issues

• "Build height" warning when sitting. Some servers show a build-height warning when someone sits down. This was seen in testing alongside another sitting plugin and is most likely caused by that plugin, not Comfy Courtesy. If you run a separate sit plugin, try removing it, since Comfy Courtesy handles sitting on wool stairs itself. It's harmless, and sitting still works.
• If the seat looks too high or low on your server, adjust couch.seat-lift in the config.

Requirements

• A Spigot server on Minecraft 26.3 with Java 25.
• Install by dropping the jar into plugins/ and restarting. Don't use /reload.
