This works on flatwords only. I reccommend setting your game to a flat world and turn off structures from spawning.
You will spawn next to a small base and you need to protect the villigers.
The zombies will drop rotten flesh and emeralds that you can trade to some of the villigers for building blocks to re-enforce your wall as well as weapons, armor and food.
To start a wave you simply press the button on the zombie head block in the base.
There are 10 waves total and you should be able to easily get to wave 5.
The waves get progressivly harder as the zombies get stronger and change some attributes.
Wave 10 is decently hard but I hope you still have fun!
