Server Utils
Server Utils is a lightweight server-side utility mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, designed to add quality-of-life, moderation, and logging features for server owners and players.
Features
- Custom Join & Leave Messages — Cleaner and more visual server messages when players join or leave.
- Welcome Messages — Personalized welcome messages for players, with a special message for server operators.
- Dimension Change Logging — Keep track of players changing dimensions, including dimension names.
- Chat Logging — Optionally log all server chat messages to a file.
- Command Logging — Optionally log command usage to a file.
- Watched Blocks — Get a console log entry whenever a configured block is broken.
- Player Jail System — Jail a player for a set time with a reason; they're confined to a radius around the jail point and automatically released once their time is up.
- Update Checker — Automatically checks for new versions and reports whether it's a MAJOR, MINOR, or PATCH update.
/greet — Send a friendly greeting to a player or everyone online./getlocation — Check a player's location, UUID and current dimension./info — Show a configurable list of server info messages./sureload — Reload the mod's configuration without restarting the server./suupdates — Manually check for mod updates./setjail — Set the server's jail location./jail — Jail a player with a reason and duration.

Installation
- Install Minecraft Forge 1.7.10.
- Download the mod and place the
.jar in your server's mods folder.
- Start your server.
Server-side only: players do not need to install the mod on their clients.
Configuration
Server Utils automatically creates its configuration in:
config/serverutils/serverutils.cfg
From there you can:
- Toggle dimension-change logging, chat logging, and command logging.
- Enable or disable the update checker and change the URL it checks against.
- Customize the welcome messages for normal players and OPs.
- Edit the lines shown by
/info.
- Configure the list of watched blocks (format:
modid:blockname).
