This mod adds around 20 new foods (and counting). Most of these have stages of consumption, like a vanilla cake. They can each be placed while crouching (in any direction, even upside down) and eaten like a cake, or simply eaten normally. Some even give you fun status effects. Care has been taken to balance their crafting recipes and hunger values with vanilla food in version 1.5. To find crafting recipes, I recommend installing Just Enough Items (or similar).
