VillagerFix is a compatibility add-on for Village Names 4 and Villager Backport for Minecraft 1.12.2. It combines Village Names’ biome-specific, vanilla-style 1.14 village generation with Villager Backport’s professions.
The mod makes Village Names place functional Villager Backport workstations in the appropriate buildings, including lecterns, composters, barrels, smokers, blast furnaces, looms, fletching tables, cartography tables, smithing tables, grindstones, and stonecutters.
It also replaces the old 1.12 profession offers with modern trade pools based on Minecraft Java 26.3, using compatible items supplied by installed backport mods such as FutureMC, Oceanic Expanse, Deeper Depths, and Crossbows Backport.
Adjusting both configuration files for VillageNames4 and Villager Backport is recommended to ensure a vanilla expirience.
