Vanilla Armory+ expands Minecraft’s combat with seven new weapons, custom attack animations, unique combat roles, and full survival progression—all designed to feel like a natural extension of vanilla Minecraft.
Rather than making every weapon behave like a differently shaped sword, each weapon has its own damage, attack speed, reach, animations, and intended fighting style. Choose between powerful two-handed weapons, quicker one-handed options, long-reaching polearms, or a throwable spear.
Current version support: Vanilla Armory+ is currently available only for Minecraft 1.20.1 & Minecraft 26.2 using the Fabric mod loader.
A powerful two-handed blade designed for heavy attacks. It deals more damage than a normal sword but has a slower attack speed.
An extremely powerful two-handed axe built for devastating single-target strikes. Its high damage is balanced by a slow recovery time.
A versatile long-reaching weapon that can be used in melee combat or charged and thrown like a trident. It is excellent for keeping enemies at a distance. ( Removed for Version 26.2 since Minecraft has a Vanilla spear that works smoother & better )
A compact one-handed blunt weapon that provides strong close-range damage without the extreme weight of a warhammer.
A one-handed axe that deals heavier damage than a sword while remaining faster and easier to handle than a great axe.
A long-reaching polearm with sweeping attacks and a special forward thrust. It is ideal for controlling space and attacking enemies before they can reach you. Pressing "Right Click" will thrust the halberd forward, reaching a longer distance than a normal swing, doing less damage and minimal knockback.
A heavy blunt weapon with powerful overhead attacks and an impact effect capable of damaging and knocking back nearby enemies. Hold "Right Click" to charge the slam attack!
The following dependencies are required:
Make sure every dependency is made for Minecraft 1.20.1 or Minecraft 26.2 and is compatible with the version of Vanilla Armory+ being installed.
When using the CurseForge application, required dependencies may be installed automatically. Players installing the mod manually must download and install each dependency themselves.
The current release supports:
The current release does not officially support:
Vanilla Armory+ must be installed on both the server and every connecting player’s client for multiplayer use.
Because the mod relies on Better Combat and Player Animator/Player Animation Library, other mods that completely replace player attack animations, weapon rendering, or combat systems may conflict.
Additional Minecraft versions or mod loaders may be considered in the future based on community interest.
Bug reports, balance suggestions, compatibility reports, and requests for additional Minecraft versions are welcome through the project’s CurseForge page.
